A morgan wallen tour 2028 hasn’t been officially announced by his management team, so there are no confirmed dates or locations at this time. Artists usually finalize these schedules 6 to 12 months in advance, meaning any current listings claiming to sell tickets for such a tour are likely unauthorized or speculative.
Ways to follow the Morgan Wallen tour
You can determine if a tour is happening by monitoring official channels rather than third-party ticket sites. If you check these sources regularly, you’ll be the first to know when legitimate dates are released.
| Source type | How often to check | What tells you it’s due |
|---|---|---|
| Official website | Once per month | New banners or landing pages |
| Artist newsletter | Once per week | Direct email alerts in inbox |
| Social media | Once per week | Verified posts from the artist |
| Venue calendars | Once per quarter | Listed events for upcoming year |
| Ticket platforms | Monthly during winter | Presale announcements for new tour |
Consequences of following unofficial listings
If you rely on unofficial sources for tour dates, you risk losing money on tickets for shows that don’t exist. Many websites create fake event pages to rank in search results, hoping you’ll purchase a “guaranteed” ticket that never materializes. This leads to long disputes with your bank to recover funds, which can take weeks or months to resolve.
Beyond the financial risk, you may share sensitive personal data with unverified platforms. These sites often require your email, phone number, and payment details to process a fake booking. Once they have this, your information can be sold to third parties or used for phishing attacks.
It’s always safer to wait for an announcement on the official Morgan Wallen website. Always check your local consumer protection bureau to understand your rights regarding event cancellation policies if you do choose to purchase from a secondary market later.
Signs a tour is truly happening
- An official announcement video posted on the artist’s verified social media accounts.
- A complete list of dates and cities published on the artist’s primary website.
- The start of an artist-specific fan club or email list presale period.
- Official press releases sent to major music industry news outlets.
- Verified ticket vendors like Ticketmaster listing the event with a clear seating map.

Time and effort to secure tickets
Securing tickets for a major country music tour requires significant preparation and fast reflexes. You should expect to spend time setting up accounts on authorized ticketing platforms well before the sale starts. This includes verifying your payment method and ensuring your shipping address is current.
On the day of the sale, you must be logged in and ready at the exact moment the queue opens. The process is high-pressure and often requires you to make quick decisions about seating within seconds. If you aren’t prepared, tickets for popular venues often sell out during the initial presale, leaving only expensive resale options later.
Habits to extend your ticket search
- Join the artist’s official fan club to get early access codes.
- Follow verified venue accounts to hear about local presale opportunities.
- Use a password manager to store your ticketing login details securely.
- Clear your browser cache before the sale starts to avoid technical errors.
- Set a firm budget for your total cost including service fees.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy tickets for 2028 now?
No, you can’t buy legitimate tickets for a 2028 tour because none have been released. Any site claiming to offer these tickets is speculative and likely trying to collect your personal information or payment details before the tour is even planned.
Why are there 2028 dates online?
These dates are placeholders created by third-party ticket brokers to capture search traffic. These companies hope that by listing a generic year, they will appear in search results and convince fans to pay for tickets that don’t exist yet.
How do I get presale codes?
Presale codes are usually sent directly to members of the official artist mailing list or fan club. You should sign up for these newsletters on the artist’s official site to ensure you receive legitimate codes when a tour is finally announced.
Is it safe to use resale sites?
It’s risky to use resale sites for events that haven’t been officially announced. If a tour is never confirmed, you’re essentially giving your money to a company for a product that can’t be delivered, making refunds difficult to obtain.
When will the tour be announced?
Tours are typically announced 6 to 12 months before the first show date. You can check the official artist website periodically, as this is the only place where confirmed schedules are posted and updated by the management team.
Does it matter where I buy?
Yes, it matters because buying from authorized sellers guarantees your entry to the event. Unauthorized sites offer no protection if the event is cancelled, whereas official vendors provide clear pathways for refunds if a show doesn’t happen.
How much do tour tickets cost?
Ticket prices vary depending on the venue size, seating category, and market demand for the specific city. You should look at the official ticketing platform once a tour is confirmed to see the price range set by the artist and the venue.
Conclusion
Start by signing up for the official artist newsletter today. You’ll receive an email alert the moment a tour is officially confirmed, which is the most reliable way to get tickets at face value. If you see a site asking for money before an official announcement, stop and exit the page.
